'Let's record an album, we'll have it done in three months...' 18+ months later and here we are.
This album has been both the best and the worst project that I've ever taken on. It's caused anxiety, depression, arguments, tears, hurt and so much stress, but it's also taught me so much and it's brought important people into my life who I hope will stay for many years to come. I've developed new skills and enhanced and honed old ones and it's shown me how talented the people that surround me are. Without those people we would never have gotten anywhere.
If you have the slightest talent in anything, don't let it fade. Work hard and ignore the eyes that constantly watch and laugh and judge. Those who spend their time laughing at others will one day run out of things to laugh about and they'll be left alone in the silence.
Don't ever stand to be part of the background...

I used to be an anxious, rhythmless, stuttering kid with no self esteem and dreams of being a musician like my dad. I would write for hours in the back room of my mum's house and I would pester my dad to write songs with me. As time passed, it dawned on me that this wasn't just a hobby, this was something that helped me make sense of the world. It helped me cope with the emotions I felt and the thoughts that ran through my head.
Nine years later and here I am writing this thank you message and it's all because of you, the person reading this. I've wanted to give up many times since we began this album but the thought that there are people out there looking forward to it has kept me going.
If you think you haven't helped, I promise you have. From those who witnessed us destroy the Ace Centre, to those who helped us nuke Ships 'n' Giggles, to those who raised the roof of Autism's Got Talent for us. If you have listened, followed, watched or supported us in any way...
