Modern Creative Jazz recorded 2023 in Mannheim.

Musical elements of modern improvised music, Harmony, Melody & Rhythm can be seen analogous to the basic elements of Nature: Air, Water, Earth and Fire. As we observe in the endless circles of death and birth in Nature, we are all responsible of keeping the basic ressources of our lives in a nuanced natural flowing way. This, to me, is a day to day process within structure.
Improvisation in Modern Jazz Music gives a template to watch this process of balancing towards an organic equilibrium happen within a form in always new ways, without even being involved.
My music, which is part of all human arts is the answer and a mirror of my everyday experience.

Backgammon is based on the idea of two persons playing backgammon and having the courage of wanting "to make the race". By playing games, also for the grown up person the motivation to win / not to loose is not disturbing anymore.

Gartenparty was written shortly after a big annual "Gartenparty" with barbecue, dancing, talking about lifes light, heavy and sometimes funny and obscure and sometimes usually experiences.

12 PM is a 12 tone thematically contract over the form of all the things you are by Jerome kern. a piece I like.

Time Remembered is a modern arrangement of the bill evans jazzstandard, which works with reharmonisation, melody alteration and variation of form, and is created conciously to give the improviser a template to reflect musically on emotionally relevant remembered timeperiods.
