Alegria [Single] by Flora Cruz

Mixtape Sessions is proud to present the fantastic new single from Flora Cruz, entitled “Alegria,” which means 'joy in Spanish. As the title cut from her forthcoming EP declares, “Alegria” is about love lost, love found and love conquered. While Flora is no stranger to singing about love in her music, this new song is performed almost entirely in a poetic, spoken word style. For this, Flora recalled some poetry she penned in her music journal long ago and poured out her emotions onto the recording, performing in both Spanish and English. This makes her poetry and linguistic style a dance floor winner!

Like she did with her music, Flora fell in love with her beloved house music community while performing cuts from her 2007 debut “Dulce Melodia” LP and is interested in giving that love back through her music. In all, “Alegria” is a catchy broken beat track, heard over a brilliant concert of strings and synth sounds. Check it out today!
