welcome to Prime Time - its a weird one - this wasnt planned to be my first album release at all! i think ever since homerecording on laptops started, a new genre of music called >>i'm tired of my other ideas, i'll just fuck around and start with a weird drum or synth track and let the randomness happen<< started.
i guess this sort of mentality creating art has always existed in any kind of matter really, but especially with everyone being able to make music in any place they want to has sparkled and twisted musical ideas in a special way. for the better and for the worse, i guess.
i hope this is a fun listen for everyone involved! like i said, i actually planned on recording and finishing my other ideas that i have stored ever since learning guitar at the end of 2017. well, i never really got my lazy arse to fucking sit down and finally record them, so besides those ideas sitting around i just started making weird shit and boom, Prime Time has emerged. it started with 'Shirt' in august 2018 and now here we are, a year later, celebrating the one year anniversary accompanied with a bunch of other tracks that fit the scheme. lol.
i count myself very lucky that i have the logistical possibilty to record in a room ("musikzimmer") at home where i can do whatever i want and mostly be as loud as i want. i bet these songs could never exist if there was someone next room quietly listening to this bullshit. the thought of this freaks me out!
i sincerely wish every artist in the world to somehow have similar possibilties so expressing themselves can happen way easier...i think.
