Keep Kicking from Ejected Identity by Fleeting Indecency

Mission control there's been a problem
I'm floating away into the abyss below
Why am I so upset at this ending
This is obviously what we originally wanted

To float away into the nothingness
and drift away to the end of time
Where the stars surround my body
and accept me into their warm embrace

Floating forever just like a dream
Leaving my messed up mental state
A place where I can be alone
and free from the reins of society

The utopia I thought I could find
and drift into like a shooting star
But maybe this isn't what I wanted
Maybe I want to return to earth

This can't be the end
I must keep fighting into the night
Create another story for the future to see

I don't want this to be the end
I want to write another chapter
Instead of taking the book and just throwing it away

THE THOUGHTS INSIDE THEY KEEP ME DREAMING
I CAN'T STOP SEEING THEIR FACES
DRAPING OVER EVERYTHING
AND SLOWLY LEADING ME TO DREAD

THERE'S SO MUCH I WANT TO DO
LIKE FALL IN LOVE OR MOVE ABOARD
THE TIME IT TAKES IS TOO DAMN LONG
BUT STILL KEEPING ITSELF AFLOAT

I'VE LOST ENOUGH OF THEM ALREADY
DEMONS TOOK CONTROL OF THEM
I WANT TO BE VICTORIOUS
AND MAKE AMENDS FOR ALL MY WRONGS

I CAN FINISH THIS ADVENTURE
I WILL FIND MY CLOSURE HERE
I WILL FIND THE HAPPY END YOU NEVER GOT
