Trimurti é um grupo de 4 miniaturas acusmáticas inspiradas em 3 das principais divindades do hinduísmo: Brahma, Vishnu e Shiva. As 3 peças iniciais, que levam o nome das divindades, apresentam sonoridades radicalmente diferentes, em analogia ao significado atribuído a cada um dos deuses: em Brahma, que representa a criação, são utilizados apenas sons de síntese; para Vishnu, a preservação, sons com pouca ou nenhuma intervenção; já para Shiva, a destruição, apenas sons radicalmente transformados. A quarta miniatura, intitulada Trimurti, reúne as outras 3 sobrepostas, em referência à crença de que Brahma, Vishnu e Shiva seriam manifestações de uma mesma divindade. Assim, 3 universos sonoros - e procedimentos técnicos - quase opostos são conciliados em um mesmo discurso musical. Cada miniatura é autônoma, independente, mas tem seu sentido completo como parte do grupo.

Trimurti is a group of 4 acousmatic miniatures inspired by 3 of the main deities of Hinduism: Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva. The 3 initial pieces, which bear the name of the deities, present radically different sonorities, in analogy to the meaning attributed to each of the gods: in Brahma, which represents the creation, only synthesized sounds are used; for Vishnu, the preservation, sounds with little or no intervention; for Shiva, the destruction, only radically transformed sounds. The fourth miniature, entitled Trimurti, brings together the other 3 superimposed, in reference to the belief that Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva were manifestations of the same divinity. Thus, 3 almost opposite sound universes - and technical procedures - are reconciled in the same musical discourse. Each miniature is autonomous, independent, but has its full meaning as part of the group.
