Neverland by Fiona Tozer
Playing with the band Odyssey was a creative time for me. As the band started to gig less, I began to write more songs that I could play solo. Although I call Neverland my first solo album, the guys from the band were very involved in the production, which was recorded in my home studio and engineered by Odyssey band-member Will Wallace. The songs are my responses to life events, in a country that was going through dramatic changes.

I started out as a self-taught guitarist/singer-songwriter. Since settling in Durban, I have played solo and with various bands, releasing several albums of original songs. I studied for a masters degree in composition, which widened my horizons and allowed me to compose internationally for different instruments. I continue to write and perform with my current project, Quark.
