Wihtblod by Feudal Fief, Gaithasura

A split EP with the mystical collaboration of artists: Feudal Fief of Nova Scotia, Canada and Gaiϑāsūra (Gaithasura) of Istanbul, Türkiye. The name "Wihtblod" roughly translates to "creature blood" in old English.

Together, both artists express a true reverence for the beauty and strong power of nature with a mix of enchanting melodies and melancholic atmosphere.

Feudal Fief begins the album with a chant of crows calling out to the unknown spirits of the past and Gaiϑāsūra leaves you in an existential trance questioning all that came before.

The painting presented on the album cover was created by the Belgian Renaissance painter Jan van Eryk, who lived between the years 1390-1441.
