Les Imperfectionnistes by Mi Cosa de Resistance & Luis Ianes
"Les imperfectionnistes" is the first collab album between Mi Cosa de Resistance and Luis Ianes, a Paris-based Argentinian guitarist.
The album is the result of an unique session of free improvised tunes in which the only predetermined thing was the key to play in. This is not only the first release in common it is also the first time we played together. "Les imperfectionnistes" is a collection of improvised songs in which melodies are as important as the tone and texture of the guitars.
In an attempt to be truthful to the spirit of the performance, we didn't edit some bits that maybe we should have deleted; we think that the good take is the vibey one and not the hypothetical perfect one. That's why we called it "Les imperfectionnistes".
