Acclaimed electronic artist Fejká marks a new rise in his unique melodic signature style. Formerly known through Christian Löffler’s Ki Records, he masterfully blends euphoric pulsing synths with heavenly vocals into a daydreaming deep house tune. Combining dualities of soft chill & punchy club music like no one before, he embarks on his new Label Coexist to a new chapter of his career. Manifested in the synesthesia of the azure colored album cover he discovered on one of his many hikes, the audiovisual visionary once more proves his outstanding artistry
‘Azur’ encapsulates the essence of the nascent Coexist imprint, a label Fejká defines by the infinite duality within his music: serene and contemplative by day, yet pulsating with vigor and dynamism by night. Within ‘Azur’, a powerful analog synth melody intertwines with ethereal vocals by Berlin-based artist Johanson, while atmospheric piano textures and driving percussion gradually infuse vitality into its euphoric yet chilled vibe, evoking an instant feel-good summer atmosphere.
The composition takes an intimate turn in the break section, where Johanson’s soulful singing imbues the track with melancholy and heartfelt harmonies. This moment of introspection leaves space for a powerful euphoric drop, as the song resurfaces with remarkable uplifting energy. The result is a rare and captivating fusion of euphoria and melancholy—a duality seldom experienced on the dancefloor.
Brian Zajak, aka Fejká began his musical career at the age of 17. Torn between the the dreamy soft atmosphere of ambient music, and the hard punchy vibe of techno, Fejká couldn’t decide which direction his music production would take. “Day/Night, Dream/Dance, Slow/Fast – music was always split into two worlds for me” he says. Thus, he decided to experiment with both.
