Laughing Songs by Favorite Haunts

I began work on this album immediately after returning home from my summer tour to the bay area in July 2024. Three Palms was the first track i made for this album (although creek rock was made individually in the spring). I wanted to chase that sound the whole ride but ended up discovering new directions, optional pathways, and alternative breathing methods. I was listening to lots of Four Tet, Panda Bear, Miles Davis, 70s folk rock, free jazz, and 90s hip hop while traveling or frying in my apartment all summer. Also waking up and having coffee, working on these tracks, doing lots of reading by the living room window, cooking, painting, and watching tons of movies. This is my summer goodbye and my autumn/winter hello.
