Solitude by Misty Keep

Seven massive, round towers are low, but set firm and strong for a great defensive line and are connected by high, wide walls made of red stone.
Rough windows are scattered generously across the walls in an asymmetric pattern along crenelations for archers and artillery.

A domineering, ancient gate with wide wooden doors protects those in need from the treacherous lands outside, but it's not the only way in when you know the castle's secret passages.

Desolate fields of grass and scattered crags cover most of the lands beyond castle grounds. This keep has loomed high over these preternatural mists for at least a thousand years and seems unlikely to fall any time soon.
