ROUS II by Family Meeting

After the huge non-success of Scarecrow of Night I decided to keep going and make more music under the band name ROUS.

To me this second album feels more like a compilation of B-sides, and half assed tracks. It was written to fast, and just like the album before had no thought put into it at all. It was all about the process of creating and having fun while doing it.

The last three songs on the record were a tribute to Atom and His Package I did with my friend Noah Moore. When seeing him play live in Houston once Noah and I gave him a tape with the three songs on it. He replied, "The tracks are good but I can't tell what you are saying." It was a great moment to at least know he listened to the tracks. Looking back on it now it's embarrassing, but at least we did it.
