Base by Falloch
Base began as a re-imagining of a couple tracks from Prospice but when it came to it we just wrote a new song and jammed a version of Meridian.
We managed to squeeze in a couple days of recording before Scott moved to Germany and these are the results. It was a chance for us to hang out, shoot the shit and have some fun making music after being apart for the last year.
Base Lionel started with the intention of being an acoustic version of Pluto and as soon as we started we felt what we were doing was different enough to become it's own independent song and that's what we have here. . We decided to look forward and do something new.
Meridian was rearranged for guitars, synths and vocals (as we didn't have Paúl with us) and recorded live. We changed the harmony in the outro but other than that it's much and such the same. A peaceful meditation on a few chords.
