I’m grasping inside of this shell for words; an understatement or a cool remark.

I fashioned a “hello” from my subdued, conniving shame.

Because in your eyes I’m infinitesimal and can’t describe a phantasmal interest or alibi
It’s in your eyes that I’m interested in thoughts I can’t describe
The nature of the listless alibi that’s in your eyes.
You’re slipping away, I can tell
You’re dizzy and desperate for help.
You’re worth the understatement, a new remark.
You’re mystified that it’s no secret, but what disguise is worth ever keeping when you’re a fraction of a memory?
It’s in your eyes but I don’t mind.
