Battlefield, EZ3kiel’s new album, offers us that light, making us cross darkness and torments, and never leaving us alone or helpless. This crossing in eleven tracks, during which a frozen, biting and snowy wind blows, makes us consider peoples’ misery and obstinateness, destruction and reconstruction - when the last bullet was fired, the last sabre hammered, when the last warrior is dying and is about to join the Valhalla.

This album features BLU RUM 13, DJ Vadim’s (Onself) and Reverse Engineering’s MC, Narrow Terence, discovery of the Printemps de Bourges Festival 2007 and DAAU Belgium trio, who already worked with EZ3kiel on V3RSUS tour. A 4th musician has joined the crew, too : Stephane Babiaud, drummer, percussionist and keyboards player.

Between melancholy beaches enamelled by electro crackling and brutal lyrical flights supported by machines, Ez3kiel explores, defrosts, frightens before appeasing. A fabulous journey full of anachronisms, violence and enchantment.
