Untitled EP by The Western Slope

With titles like “CORPSEPAINT IS BLACKFACE”, “WOMEN’S BONES MAKE YOUR BASE”, and “HEAVEN IS FULL OF BLACK CHILDREN”, this EP come with direct political statements. Despite never saying a word on the entire thing TWS keeps the outlook bleak and barren, like a harsh oasis shattering into waves over and over again. A refraction of small town isolationism in times of hatred and intolerance, attempting to escape and expand through understanding and love.

THE WESTERN SLOPE is a one man instrumental metal project based out of Paonia, CO. Using heavy interlocking grooves and teetering between style of extreme metal, TWS uses titles to dictate the feeling of the track and prefers crashes to conclusions.

EYES ARE HAMMERS is an experimental label based out of Denver Colorado.
