Bergamot by Fleshhoof

Fleshhoof (Cassidy Spine) blends ambient coral work with found sounds and and self made field recordings. The result is glacially paced music that crashes like soft waves on an alien beach. The sounds float freely yet are tethered to the grit of their sources. Endless fluctuations pulsate and hum like a motor but these lengthy tracks have more in common with zen meditation than cold electronics. Bergamot is the debut album of Fleshhoof and EAH is proud to present her angelic drones for the first time.

Fleshhoof is the moniker of Cassidy Spine, a Colorado located artist. Her work straddles the line between classical voice compositions and the sample based destructions of The Caretaker. She records local vocalists and instrumentalists, and composes the end result out of samples and heavy editing.
