Versions by Exquisite Russian Brides

Based on recent field recordings and beat experiments as well as a box of cassette tapes of live recordings all the way back to 2005 and 2008 Exquisite Russian Brides presents their most fully realised project yet - and in many ways a summary of what they have worked toward since the beginning of ERB back in 2003 - in the form of 72 minutes of multi-colored beat driven drones moving from steady beats submerged in a dense grey river to pink summer evenings filled to the brim with violins, birds, bells and backward tapes and a blue coda for hamonium, hand drums and faravay noise scapes.

Exquisite Russian Brides was Marc Kellaway's main experimental project from 2003 to 2020 specialising in massive fields of acoustic/electric drones - whether soft spaces produced by cello and accordion, more insistent beat-driven creations, field-recordings and tape cut-ups, free form synth impro or minimal music for meditation.

Since 2020 the journey continues as The Exquisite Test Center.
