Most of the music in this album was generated entirely, or partly, by software. This software searches freesound.org for sounds, and stores them in a graph structure based on aural and lexical relationships between sounds. The structure of the graph is based on a graph theory of creativity by psychologist Melissa Schilling. This structure is then turned into music by thousands of swarm agents that crawl the graph to trigger sounds.
