BPEP by Evan Jagels with Brian Melick
Bass and Percussion EP includes four compositions by bassist Evan Jagels along with percussionist Brian Melick. These musical conversations between bass and percussion are playful, yet heartfelt and sincere.
Using both electric and upright bass, the West African udu, cajon, and a variety of hand percussion, BPEP explores a range of dynamics, textures, and influences.
