After the widespread success of ‘THAT BEAST’ in 2018, matching the intensity and power and the resulting acclaim was never going to be easy.
However, here we find ourselves again, floored by J Blacker’s unmatched and completely individual style of hard and dark electronic grooves.
BURIAL 10 is an unrelenting power house of an album. From the opening staccato rhythms of the opener ‘Relapse’ we are taken on a breathless journey of pure heavyweight black magic.
Crushing dancefloor distortions sit comfortably alongside new and interesting styles helped along by vocal collaborations by ‘Jo Hysetria' (Massenhysteria), ‘Caitlin Stokes’ (Corlyx) and ‘Lecture’.
BURIAL 10 is arguably ESA’s most accomplished album to date and yet again brings Blacker’s oppressive and furious energy back to the forefront of todays dark electronics.
