Lyrics
Above the rising tides, the “good life” allures,
For those undiscerning.
The dream of an infinite dawn entrances like a siren song,
As Rome goes on burning.
Out of the ashes, into rain, a blessed unrest emerges to incite a change,
Is it in vain, this occurring?
You’ve got ears, and eyes, and the sense to finally know the fear
Of waters on the rise
The dreamer awakened can choose another dream,
Unimagined before.
From shadows and voyeurs, to a new day of warriors
In a world we’re all looking for.
Feeling alone. Slave to the phone. Lost in our own petty dramas.
But beyond the charade, courage reclaimed,
How many others can discover the same:
This dream’s a nightmare to sustain?
What bequeathment will be laid:
An age of unraveling, or of reconnection, a course correction,
With all relations returning?
Could we be the dreamers to manifest a new destiny?
A shift in the story reveals another way to higher ground, and shimmering shores.
Deceived and divided, yet our stories united in a voice too strong to ignore.
With darkness astride us, let a new dream inside us ignite us
The condor coming home again to guide us.
