Lukas Moritz Wegscheider is a composer for experimental music, sound and media artist. in his work he deals with time, the ephemeral, the imperishable and what remains.

For the exhibition entitled “Fo:hn”, Tyrolean sound artist and composer Lukas Moritz Wegscheider explored life in the Alps and the personal effects associated with it. For the presentation of these impressions, Wegscheider used elements of earlier installations and combines them with new works as well as with Georg Trakl's lyrical work of the same name in order to place them in a new context. The opening was musically framed by a concert by the artist as part of the Premierentage 2022.

Epileptic Media is happy to welcome another local hero on the roster. Lukas Moritz Wegscheider shines with his unique blend of source material, sound design techniques and compositional approaches. This cassette takes you on a trip through the western Austrian highlands, on which you meet traditional wind bands and wade through a heavy snow storm just to reach the calm summit above the fog.
