Monster, failure of youth
calls out alone inside his room
broken bottles on the floor
from some fantastic night ,from some fantastic night

the party's in your head but you went home instead

Fractured, burdened by the guilt
praying for someone to pick up
memories of what is right and wrong
you brought it on yourself, there is no one else
the picture leaves the frame, you fumble for a name
you think of her as you stare through the rain

There are no words of consolation
only conclusion as you play the scene
over and over and over and over again
it's like a daydream
you see her face and every crying eye
you know the cause
it doesn't get much easier, no it doesn't get much easier

Monster you don't have a clue
losing control of what you do
repeating the actions every day
then you spiral down, you're buried in the ground
You never let them near, you're living with the fear
