Watersmeet from Slaught by Endless Idiot
This was written as an instrumental on guitar. You can hear the original guitar version in a bonus tenth track, only via the Bandcamp download of Slaught. I added words and the field recording, and at that point the guitar began to sound too busy and in the way, so I ended up removing it.
The words tell a ghost story, set at Watersmeet in Devon, which is where the field recording of the rivers and passing birds was made. I don't know of an actual legend about a ghost there, so I made up my own.
