Lambs from Slaught by Endless Idiot
This started as a bit of an experiment, having got hold of a full orchestral plugin for the first time. It turned out nicely enough (in my view...) to include on the album. If you use a DAW and fancy playing with a full orchestra, look for Spitfire's BBCSO Discovery version. That was used to make this. Astonishingly, it's free.
The only audio on the track that doesn't use the Spitfire plugin is some lambs calling. Hence the title.
Endless Idiot is a one-faced musical mash exploring different styles and going where the fancy takes. So far the fancy has led to synthwave, post-punk, hauntology, dark folk, minimalism, field recordings, and experimental and orchestral writing. DIY wherever possible, Endless Idiot has fronted or contributed to a fair few bands over the years, most recently punk outfit Who Killed Nancy Johnson?
