Marco Villa, nato a Bergamo (Italia) 1970, a partire dal 2003 inizio a comporre musica elettronica, fra soundtrack, dance e sperimentale, utilizzando lo pseudonimo Emphasis.
Autoproduco quattro cd fra il 2003 e il 2009 mai pubblicati, "The Last Moon", "Deliriotremens", "Il Lago Delle Lame" e "The Phantom Blade".
Dal 2022 esco pubblicamente con alcuni singoli dance, con buoni feedback.
