Intersections by Elijax

Intersections was composed during 2021, while Italy was under lockdown. I derived the music from a few samples taken from the Citizen DJ Project of Brian Foo at The Library of Congress https://citizen-dj.labs.loc.gov/
I chose some voices that were inspiring, and generated some colors, some rhythms, some melodies and some harmonies. The titles can be read in Italian and in English. The meaning is which one you prefer, as is in music. I hope you will enjoy this music as much as I did making it.

Ho composto Intersections nel 2021, quando l’Italia era in lockdown. Ho generato la musica partendo da alcuni campioni presi dal Citizen DJ Project di Brian Foo alla Library of Congress https://citizen-dj.labs.loc.gov/
Ho scelto alcune voci che mi piacevano, e ne ho generato timbri, ritmi, melodie e armonie. I titoli dei brani vanno letti in italiano o in inglese. Il significato è quello che l’ascoltatore preferisce, come avviene per la musica. Spero che questa musica ti piacerà tanto quanto mi è piaciuto comporla.

Dr Elia Andrea Corazza (aka Elijax) is a conductor, composer, pianist and musicologist. He holds a Ph.D. in musicology and master’s degrees in pianoforte, conducting and composition. He studied conducting in Fiesole and Pescara (Italy), and at the Tanglewood Music Center (Lenox, MA, U.S.A.)
