And don’t you ever let it go
Cos i say that i’m happy,
But darling, we both know that i’m not

I check the letter box everyday,
But, still no letter with my name,
And you hate that i cry over something,
That he did to me

I see the state, Of everything,
Around me,
I excavate,
The meaning of it,
To feel seen

Drawing paper moons,
Roses all in bloom,
Let me sink beneath the blue,
Let me live in truth with you

And so they put a space between us,
Only you know how to speed up,
With the pace of my feet,
and bonds that we keep,
I can’t believe they got between us

I see the state,
