The Electric Magpie was founded in the year 2013 in the San Francisco Bay Area by childhood friends Peter Maffei and Hunter Stroope. The ever-changing lineup has included many friends old and new, and is rarely the same for more than a string of shows. Magpie currently operates out of Echo Park in Los Angeles, CA, where Peter and Hunter are currently working on new material.
