Drum by Electric Brother
"drum" means path, route, road, way in Romanian.
I wrote this EP after travelling almost 1400km on the amazing Via Transilvanica, a trip organised in 2021 by Cronicari Digitali. The idea was to record everything around me, archiving and documenting each part of the Via. While in my studio editing, I found ideas and inspiration to write these songs, making use of the interesting sounds clips and soundscapes I have recorded, adding real instruments, or creating virtual instruments from samples.
I tried to leave a lot of space for the listener to fill in, making each audition a new personal path.
