Bue.note from Aroma by Eleanna Pitsikaki

Bue.note is my very first composition, written for my grandfather. It's about two of my favorite things: Bueno chocolate and notes—music.
When I was a child, my grandfather and I used to sneak off to the kiosk, just the two of us, to buy a Bueno in secret. He had a sugar problem, though I didn’t really understand what that meant back then.
This piece is a tender memory of those stolen moments—sweet, simple, and full of love.

Eleanna Pitsikaki is a Qanun virtuoso, composer, educator, lecturer music mediator and researcher from Crete, Greece. Recognized for her innovative ethno-jazz fusion, she blends influences from Asia Minor, the Balkans, Greece, and the Ottoman tradition with contemporary sounds and transcultural sounds.
