Decoded by A Sagittariun

Firing out trippy chuggers and frazzled electronica from his home city of Bristol, A Sagittariun continues to operate on the outer rim of the techno cosmos, returning with a new two track single on his own Elastic Dreams label.

‘Decoded’ plunders the secretive world of ‘organ techno’, a genre you didn’t think you needed until you hear it, as the ‘funky archer’ piles on woody percussion, strings and wonky bass tones to the pacey Hammond dance party. Accompanying track ‘Crystal Gazing’ sits in its own disorderly lane, going down a wonky wormhole leading to a majik box marked “off yer chops”.

A Sagittariun arrived in late 2011, fully formed, and with a strong agenda to release musical dispatches from the frontline of the constellations.....

Via the Elastic Dreams label, A Sagittariun has issued a handful of 12” discs, each one armed with breadth and sustenance, exploring the outer reaches of deep and thoughtful electronic music, where possible accompanied by a message of hope.
