CHRISTMAS TIME features Lennon's signature vocals alongside heartwarming solos from 10 of the original 40 primary school children who she wrote the song with pre-lockdown as part of a voluntary 'STEM' education event.

I'm even more delighted to have the children join me for a live performance of the song as part of The Homebird Sessions tour - for me it's all about making memories for these kids who have missed out on so much these past 'covid years', ones that will last far longer than the 3 minute song we have brought to life...That's what the true spirit of Christmas is for me!
The children, including my own two sons, have been involved at every stage of this project from writing and recording through to live performance and release as I wanted to help them understand exactly what's involved in getting a song out there, how it can be hard work yet still fun and enjoyable! CHRISTMAS TIME is guaranteed to bring smiles and comes with a warning that you may still be singing this song hours after hearing it!"

Produced and arranged by Elaine Lennon, the track was mixed and mastered at Chem19 Studios in Blantyre by Derek O'Neil (best known for working with King Creosote). Lennon recorded the children's vocals in her home studio and plays plays keyboard and electronic base on the track. Adriana Spina plays guitar and Lennon's 11-year-old son Jamie arranged and plays drums.

A video for CHRISTMAS TIME will be released on Lennon's YOUTUBE Channel on December 2nd featuring the soloists on the track Jamie & Chris, Rhys, Aiden, Matthew, Katie, Cameron, Lewis, Zack Jack and Eva.

Elaine will be joined by 10 of the pupils involved for a live performance of the single to close the show at Cumbernauld Theatre on Thursday 6th November.
