Doctrine: 789305 by Ekoplekz

The second privately released Ekoplekz collection from April 2010.

Originally recorded, mastered, duplicated and distributed entirely on cassette tape.

Exact number of copies unknown but probably less than ten and only given to friends.

Later, in September that year, a handful of promotional copies were digitized to CDr and given away with pre-orders of the Volume 2 collection (forthcoming on bandcamp) but it has never been available to purchase or stream online or otherwise. For a long time I was determined to keep it that way, but for some reason a couple of my friends who have actually heard it consider it to be one of my best and keep urging me to put it out, so here it is.

Primary sound source here was the recently acquired Ekosynth P15 (vintage monophonic analogue synth), along with Eko Organ, stylophone, electric guitar/bass and the usual echo/loop/modulation pedals.

This reissue was digitised from the master cassette copy which was recently discovered at the back of a drawer. Previous digitised version was from a second generation dub.
