Eccojax55 is a album that uses samples to create distorted renditions of loops and chops from the original songs. The name is derived from the term 'Eccojam' (which is a chop & screw production style derived from an album of the same name) and the term 'Jacked' (which can be used to describe amplified music). The "55" comes from the length of the album as a whole, it is 55 minutes long. This is apart of the alias "James Oko" by the main artist behind the project, E.J., whom uses the name for general Chop&Screw albums and singles. I hope the listener enjoys the experience! I wanted to create a vaporwave album with a huge distorted quality to give off a general rough texture and painful sound. This album took about 2 and 1/2 weeks and a half to produce, and I hope you enjoy the sounds in this album. General Production Notes
- The first track on the album, A1, is connected to the last album loosely; the first sample is from Phil Collin's Another Day In Paradise in which the loop says "Oh, Think Twice". This was made consciously to nod to the first album under the James Oko name, known as "James Oko's Eccojams Jr Vol.1". The first sample of this album is of Kim Carne's Bette Davis Eyes, and that loop repeats "You don't have to think twice".

- Despite the general production taking place in September, there are a couple of tracks that were made in April 2022. These tracks include the first half of A2, All of B4, and All of B7.

- The sample used on B3, Jon & Vangelis's I Hear You Now, was a sample that was showcased to me by InfinitySnapz, an associate and fellow general producer.

- The ending of the album was originally going to be Huey Luis & The News's Power of Love, but this was cut before it's release.

- There are several samples that share a album link to the original Eccojams project, one example on B5 is JoJo's Note to God.

- A6, and B6 both contain live chops and screws that were recorded and interspersed in-between prerecorded bits of the samples.

- The general thought process of the album was to use songs that charted on Billboard or other various regional charts. This thought process however came halfway during the albums creation. There were some screws cut in order to fulfill this general practice. One such example was on A7, in which the middle Screw of Lenny Kravitz's Rock & Roll Is Dead, was originally Fleetwood Mac's Empire State. Despite Fleetwood Mac's popularity as a group, the song Empire State did not chart.
