Deep Ecology by Ecovengeance

Philosopher Arne Næss writes, "The well-being and flourishing of human and nonhuman life on Earth have value in themselves. These values are independent of the usefulness of the nonhuman world for human purposes." Næss’ philosophy informs my new album “Deep Ecology,” which blends field recordings of the human and nonhuman worlds with yearning drones. In these nine songs, I express the beauty of nature and the collective crisis we face in figuring out how to save it. Our world is in danger, but we can take immediate action to solve this problem.

All album proceeds go to the Natural Resources Defense Coalition, a non-profit environmental advocacy group.
