Anthropocene by Ecovengeance

We have entered the Anthropocene, a geologic age in which humans are the primary cause of environmental change. This age bears our name ("anthro"), and while this should be an honor, it feels more like shame. Earth has suffered for our being here. But it doesn't have to be that way. We have the capacity to protect and restore this planet for all its inhabitants. It will require some of the hardest work humanity has ever known, but a better world for all is worth the fight.

This album explores the emotional complexity of this geologic age - fear, misanthropy, anger, shame, yearning, joy, and hope. Hope is the most important of these - cultivate it where you can and we will make the future a good one!
