ECVA001 - Echolocation by Echo Train Records

A compilation raising money to support the mental health of our tamariki and rangatahi and to help our frontline workers give them the support they need and deserve.

All proceeds from the sale of this release, as well as the show will be donated to Māia Health Foundation - to help with the development of a new Child, Adolescent and Family (CAF) outpatient facility, due to be completed by the end of 2023.
The current outpatient facilities based at The Princess Margaret and Hillmorton Hospital are old, outdated and can’t cope with the number of tamariki and rangatahi being referred there daily, with young people saying they feel like a prison. Since 2018, there has been a 140% increase in demand for CAF outpatient services - this is an average of 433 young people being referred each month. The average age of referral is just 12 years old.
