Sanctuary by Ecepta
2020 is an extremely intense year so far. It does feel weird to just continue doing my thing and releasing tunes during this time, while everyone is worrying about way bigger and more important things, but it's also very special to be able to contribute to your way of experiencing these times in a more positive way.
"Sanctuary" is a combination of textured percussion, soft piano's and driving basses. While the drums get more complex and the atmospheres become richer during the drops, the breakdown wanders off for a short kalimba section. I tried to capture a dreamy vibe in this one, and hopefully you'll feel that too.
