"This EP is a collection of songs that I wrote and recorded during the same sessions that I recorded my full length album 'Pax Romana' between 2016 and early 2017. I had initially intended on some of these songs being a part of that album, but once I got far enough into the process I realized that these really stood out as something different entirely... Despite Ebn Ezra as a project being solely fixed in a virtual setting these songs seemed to float more towards the surface of reality, even though they're still glossy and shimmery in nature, I feel like these songs hit harder and were more "real world" than anything I had been working on for 'Pax Romana' in the sense that they're more personal and relatable to me. And also the visuals that inspired these songs were much more tangible and familiar... Honestly I didn't really know how they fit in the whole Ebn Ezra world, or how/if I would release these... but now after some time I'm really excited to be sharing these songs as an EP with you all, I Really hope you enjoy them and thank you for listening :}"
