Identity Mitosis is a story with purpose - a grand zoom out of the standard objective worldview and a re examination of our place and time in the universe.
Taking place in the distant future, an AI reboots to find itself in a completely remediated world in which the ecosystems are thriving. It is somehow able to communicate with the Earth itself, a wise ageless being, who's intelligence and indeed it's own form of technology rivals that of the AI's.
