Sound Tlakotli by Sudden Reverb

‘Sound Tlakotli’ is the first single from the debut album by Sudden Reverb, the new alias of Mexico-born composer, producer and DJ Fernando Perez Gomez, previously known for his Nahuatl Sound System and Nahuatl Jaguar projects.

A subversive slice of propulsive dub, fuelled by spicy horns and a cheeky guitar riff, ‘Sound Tlakotli’ fuses dub production with techno beats to stunning effect.

The original is supported by a handful of stellar remixers, Meeting by Chance, Deadbeat and The Three Wise Mexicans: Rainforest, Tor.ma in Dub and Mexican Stepper. Each bring with them their own style, from smoky downtempo to smooth drum and bass, steppers to spacious bass scapes.
