I awake to the songbird greeting the day
I’m healing and rested, finding my way
Its been quite a journey difficult and new
Ill tell you what I’m gonna do

I’m gonna smile with the sunshine on my face
I’m gonna walk up to someone in an unfamiliar place
I’m gonna shake new hands and never let go
I’m gonna plant new seeds and watch them grow

I’m gonna hold you tight as life itself is at stake
I’m gonna ask everyone I know to partake
I’m gonna invite some friends to play and sing
I’m gonna let the tuned guitars loudly ring

We can ride side by side, never to walk alone

I’m gonna write that novel of intrigue and love
I’m gonna slip into happiness, like a well-worn glove
I’m gonna celebrate life every chance I get
I’m gonna keep on keeping on, never gonna quit
