Dr Skyloop is one of the season's biggest surprises in the Basque scene. They won the 1st prize in the XXIII Villa de Bilbao contest (New Tendencies) after just 9 months of rehearsals, with a mind blowing live show, transcending the merely musical and challenging any genre boundaries.
Not casually, Dr. Skyloop's members come from spheres as different as electro, hi-nrgy, psychedelia, abstract ambient, techno, indie or pop. With an eye on the dance floor and the other focused on the intellectual excitement of their audience, they write their audiovisual message getting inspiration fro the human-machine interaction while providing a rich, solid, powerful sound. A sound drinking from obsessive experimentation and improvisation, endlessly growing, nurtured by motion pictures.
With a breathtaking first album "Plexi" out now on Collider Records, Dr. Skyloop are proud to announce their live show based on inorganic beatz, electronic arrangements and live video screenings in your local club or favourite festival.
