bootstrap narratives are no longer cool /
currency is worthless / community is fuel /
no human overworks other humans like mules /

plant life constricted every border wall /
fascist party fanatics died in war /
the surviving apparatus paid Black reparations /
gender affirmation surgery is basic healthcare
in the ruins of united settlements /
a country long stolen is returned in peace
while once oppressed people rename ourselves /
each syllable sounds like a deep inhale /

I hear abolition will beget revolution
neither can happen without blood in the street /
they burned libraries we share oral histories /
we’re taught to wait for a prophet we all could be /
I rap for the world that I want to see
cuz a Hip-Hop politic is stories & dreams /
