artificial air by dreams without end

Trapped in a lifeless zoo the sacred, iconic emblems lay still for all eyes to see. Environmentally controlled, protected and shielded for generations they know nothing of seasons nor the feel of a natural breeze. Some may catch a limited ray of sun, filtered and bent through thick layers of glass with no warmth to speak of. Left entombed in a marble coffin their preservation is celebrated yet quickly forgotten.
