Lori from The secret by Doug York
Here is another song I wrote in March 2006. I am not sure where the name Lori came from, but I was on my way to an appointment and as usual I was humming a tune or trying to come up with a clever hook to a song, and Lori was born through all that. The phrase "Lord let Lori fall in love with me" had a better ring to it than "Lord let Eyvone fall in love with me" Funny thing is, I didn't even know a Lori, and was a little uncomfortable trying to explain that song idea to my wife and others that questioned why did you write a song about Lori. I hope everyone believes me. Now you know the rest of the story.
