RHYTHM SYREN

Is the debut album from seasoned producer and DJ, Dominic Dawson And superstar model, singer, songwriter co-producer and all-round fabulous man ROY INC.

The project started before Covid in 2019 but ROY and Dominic took a precaution based hiatus during Covid.

The pair didn’t get back into the studio until 2022, when they completed recording, after which Dominic relocated to Tokyo to finish the mixing and mastering.

The album is an exciting mixture of dance genres that represents their eclectic taste and passion for all genres of music.
From Funk and boogie to deep, soulful & tech house, and electro that comfortably sit next to one another.

There is an underlying theme that runs throughout the album that is a another shared passion, which is the lifting up and shining a light on the incredible achievements, of people of colour and the LGBTQ+ community, and the thesis that maintains that while cultures may differ, people are the same the world over regardless of colour or orientation. The message in this album touches on human emotions universally and is echoed in tracks such as ‘I Am U’ ‘Passage’ & ‘Preach’.

Rhythm Syren takes the listener on a musical and lyrical journey, skilfully crafted with love and passion for music and life.
The 15 strong personal that have been kind enough to contribute to this project includes highly acclaimed singers and players such as Chaz Jankel (Ian Dury & The Blockheads) Francis Hylton (Incognito, Citrus Sun, Str4ta) Sulene Fleming (Incognito) to mention a few. Plus an array of deeply talented individuals.
